Impact Off-Road Products, Inc. is proud to unveil the ARU (All-Terrain Response Unit). The ARU has been designed, tested and proven to out perform other off-road rescue vehicles currently on the market. Our engineers use the Kawasaki Mule™ 3010 Trans4×4® Diesel as their platform. The innovative three-cylinder diesel engine used by Kawasaki makes this product an instant winner. From capacity, to handling, to comfort, the ARU will surpass the expectations of any operator.

The ARU is built to meet the needs and demands of RESCUE. With the design of this vehicle, Rescue and EMS teams can quickly seat and transport four personnel to the scene of an emergency. When functioning as a transport vehicle, there is ample leg room for rescue teams.

Within 30 seconds, two attendants can quickly convert the ARU from a transport vehicle into a recovery vehicle. Once converted, the ARU can hold one victim-loaded stretcher, one attendant, and the driver.

The ARU is built so the accompanying attendant has unobstructed access to the patient, in order to provide head-to-toe care while in route. The stretcher is mounted between the axles, as it would be in an ambulance, providing the utmost patient comfort. This design keeps the vehicle well balanced, allowing for flawless off-road performance.

Just as in most fire and rescue trucks, the ARU’s body and boxes are constructed from .160” thick 5052 and 3003 aluminum sheets. To provide a durable, long-lasting finish, the body is powder coated. We use marine grade switches, fuse holders, and wiring so they will withstand the harsh environments to which they will be exposed. Maintenance and repairs to the engine and drive train are easily performed thanks to the dump bed feature, which allows easy accessibility.

Custom options are available to help make the ARU fit the unique needs of any Rescue, Fire, or EMS team.
